Charles Hall, CEO
Charles is the founder and CEO of Association Services Group. He is active in the day-to-day operation of the firm providing long-range direction and insuring that the firm is operating in accordance with the AMCI Accreditation standards. ASG was accredited by the American Society of Association Executives in 2004 and also by the AMC Institute in 2008. His passion is to be sure ASG ‘always exceeds client expectations’ and he continues to serve as the senior manager for three of the firm’s long term clients. Charles holds both a Bachelor and Master of Science Degree in Horticulture from the University of Georgia and has almost 40 years of experience in association management, public relations and business operations. In 2011 and 2012, Association Services Group was recognized in the Bulldog Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies. He has served on the UGA College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences Alumni Association Board of Directors for more than fifteen years, serving as Alumni Society President in 2010-2011. In 2006, he received the Volunteer Service Award from the National Agricultural Alumni and Development Association for his work with the alumni association. Charles served on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Society of Association Executives (GSAE) and as a Trustee and Chairman of the GSAE Foundation. From 2008 to 2011, he served on the Board of Directors of the Association Management Company Institute (AMCI) and in 2012 he was elected Secretary of the AMCI Board. Charles was recognized in 2007 as one of the ‘90 Movers and Shakers’ in the Georgia association community. In 2011, Charles was recognized for his contributions and service to the association industry with the presentation of the Clifford Clark Award, the highest recognition awarded by the Georgia Society of Association Executives for career achievement. |
